810nm Diode treatment targets  the root bulb of the hair follicle with a wavelength of light that is  absorbed by the hair pigment of the active hair follicle (anagen phase), which heats the root bulb  to a temperature that permanently disables the hair follicle. 30 to 50% of hair is in anagen at any time, this is why multiple treatments are necessary. The remaining hair then slowly sheds over the next three weeks leaving a smooth soft appearance. Three to six treatments are usually needed to for maximal results. This procedure is quick and painless.
